Power Flushing

Power Flushing

Why power flush?

Power flushing is an important part of looking after and maintaining your central heating system. Power flushing removes the build up of sludge which causes various problems including air in your radiators, cold radiators, pump or valve seizure or failure, little or no hot water or even complete boiler break down. These problems will make your boiler work harder to provide the heat required, wasting fuel and shaving time from its lifespan.

How often should a power flush be carried out?

Once a power flush has been carried out most systems will need another power flush every 5-6 years if the system has been looked after with inhibitor being topped up yearly.

Power flushing prices

4-6 radiators = £450

7-10 radiators = £500

11-15 radiators = £550

Packages that work

It is always worth replacing radiator valves that are old and seized when having a power flush, we rely on isolating each radiator individually for the best results.

A magnetic system filter is highly recommended by all boiler manufacturers, this will protect your system long after the power flush and prolong the life of your boiler.
